  1. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We collect your information only with your consent and we only collect the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us. Because we operate as an e-commerce site, the use of your information is transactional and only used to fulfill that purpose. That could include the use of your information to contact you about an order, help you customize said order (if you should request), and/or ship an order. The information accessed/used could include your name, billing or payment information, a telephone number, and a physical address. We don’t sell or rent this information to anyone. We will only access and use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us.

 

If you’re visiting us from the EU: we comply with the Privacy Shield framework.

SITE USAGE INFORMATION

We may also collect and store anonymous information relating to your browsing patterns, including for example, your browser version, Site referral information, IP address, operating system and other technical Site use information. When required, we may disclose specific Information upon governmental request, in response to a court order, or when required by law to do so. We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via our website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way via SSL (Secure Socket Layer). You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

 

We use generally accepted industry security standards to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security and correctly use personal information. However, no commercial method of information transfer over the Internet or electronic data storage is known to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage in our systems. We also require each of our authorized service providers who need such information in order to carry out their business functions for us to safeguard against such unauthorized access, disclosure or use.

 

  1. Social Media & Marketing (Features)

Our website includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Your interactions with these Features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time and all updates will be posted on this page. If you feel that we are not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact us immediately via support@dornbachstudios.com.

 

 

RETURNS:

 

RETURN POLICY FOR CUSTOM AND MADE-TO-ORDER ITEM DEPOSITS

Customers have 72 hours from placement of a deposit for a custom or made–to–order item to cancel the order.  After 72 hours, the deposit will be retained by IronForger, LLC / DBA Dornbach Studios and cannot be refunded.

RETURN POLICY

Customers have three business days from the date of receiving items to initiate a return. If more than three days have gone by since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund.

Defects or damage will be evaluated on a case by case basis for repair, partial replacement, or full replacement at the discretion of Dornbach Studios.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it when it was shipped or delivered to you. It must also be in the original packaging and sent back to us within seven business days of receiving your order.

You will need to include proof of purchase, a detailed request and pictures when applicable, as to why you are requesting a refund or an exchange. You must receive approval and a return confirmation to return your item.

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once a refund has been initiated you have seven days from the date of purchase to return your item to Dornbach Studios. No exceptions. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within ten business days.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  Once a replacement has been initiated, you have seven days from the date of purchase to return your item to Dornbach Studios. No exceptions. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the tracking number for your replacement item once it has shipped.

 

RETURN SHIPPING

You are responsible for paying shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Made-to-Order furniture must be returned using a trackable shipping method and items with value more than $500 must also be insured.  Email your tracking number and return confirmation number to support@dornbachstudios.com.

 

RESTOCKING FEES

 

All returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Items must be returned undamaged within seven business days and in original condition.

If the item is returned damaged or not in its original shipped condition within seven days, then up to a 50% restocking fee will be applied, depending on the damage to the item at the discretion of Dornbach Studios.

 

 

DELIVERY POLICY

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

We hand deliver our furniture whenever possible to minimize transit damage and recycle shipping materials.

DELIVERY AREA

We currently deliver our custom furniture within the contiguous 48 states.

DELIVERY COSTS

Costs are dependent upon location. Once you place your order, we’ll work with you to estimate shipping to your area.  White Glove delivery minimum rates are $150 and maximum of $950 per shipping cart item. Rates depend on your location and the amount of space your order takes up in the delivery truck. We’re located in Princeton, New Jersey.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY INCLUDES

White Glove Delivery includes unpacking and recycling delivery materials, product assembly (attaching table legs) and moving the product to its destination. If more in-depth assembly is needed, an hourly rate will apply.

We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and deliver your product on a day and time that is convenient for you.

We will arrive at one delivery location per order, unpack, place items in one designated area, remove all packaging debris, and ensure there is no damage to the item(s). We will move your order up or down one flight of stairs that can reasonably accommodate your furniture.

If your order does not fit in the stairwells or elevators, etc. we are not responsible for placement of the item(s).

It is the client’s responsibility to have the path to the delivery location cleared and physically acceptable for delivery, we are not responsible for property damage.

DAMAGE

During delivery, we will take the appropriate measures to repair any damage to your ordered item which may have occurred during delivery. If the repair cannot be accomplished on-site, we will work with you to fix or repair your item.

ALASKA & HAWAII MADE-TO-ORDER

We cannot tell you exactly what your shipping will cost to Alaska or Hawaii in advance of your item being completed because the freight company needs crated dimensions, weight, and your address to send a quote.

 

 

SHIPPING

Shipping nationally and internationally is quoted on a per case basis. Shipping outside of the U.S. may require personal information such as a Social Security Number or Federal Tax ID for US Customs & Border Services.
